In Memoriam
- Katrina and Asanti
Last month Angel Smile Farm lost a dear friend. As Asanti got older thunderstorms became very stressful for him. We had one of our Florida storms that was right over us with lightening that mimmicked fireworks! Asanti’s heart could not take another one of these storms. He died of heart failure at 32 years old. Although, old age was beginning to show itself, Asanti would go out with his pony and make sure that noone messed with him. He would float across that field keeping up with Nibs. I know that he is “floating” with the grace and elegance as he did in his years as a high level dressage competitor. There is definitely an emptiness felt in the barn. He is deeply missed by his dear friend Katrina as he is by all of us at Angel Smile Farm. Dance On Asanti!
